![]() “With the addition of DC and DC Vertigo titles we’re providing more convenience and a great opportunity for readers to discover and explore some of the best stories comics have to offer at no additional cost to their current Prime, Kindle Unlimited, or ComiXology Unlimited subscription.” ComiXology Unlimited ![]() “We are thrilled to now include an incredible selection of DC’s vast library of Super Heroes and DC Vertigo titles as part of comiXology Unlimited, Kindle Unlimited, and Prime Reading, bringing an even bigger benefit to all our subscription members,” ComiXology’s CEO and co-founder David Steinberger, said in a statement. The expansion of the DC Comics and Vertigo series for readers will also extend to Kindle Unlimited (a subscription service that lets you rent out books and audiobooks) and Prime Reading (a service that’s available with Amazon Prime accounts that lets you borrow up to 10 books at a time for free). Io9 is reporting that ComiXology Unlimited subscribers can now borrow and read a wide variety of comics-and will include single issues, trades, graphic novels, and larger collections-from both DC Comics and Vertigo (a DC Comics imprint). And while DC Comics eventually launched its own comics subscription model, it won’t be the only way you can explore DC Comics’ library. One of the major flaws of comic subscription services like ComiXology Unlimited was that you never could read anything from DC Comics ’ extensive comics collection through the subscription service alone if it was available, you had to purchase every issue or volume. ![]()
